2022.

- Recorded our duo album (Nystrøm/ Venter) to be released on Grappa.

The album largely consists of our own compositions based on years of gathering inspiration across the globe from the many styles of music we have both worked in.In memorie of the great Miriam Makeba we recorded our version of the "click song" as well as the songs "without your love" and "Gloomy sunday",two of great songs made famous by Billy Holiday.

- I worked as a vocalist on step dancer Janne Erakers's album which she has recorded with a handpicked selection of musicians. Janne Eraker has made a name for herself in the passed few years as an innovator in her field. She has challenged the show girl expectation of the step world by using her craft in a original way by approaching her art as not purely a dance form but much more closely as a music instrument.

- Continued performances with Minefelt (music dramatic work) Written and Directed by Marius Kolbenstvedt with music composed by Bjorn Bolstad Skjelbred. The piece deals with a dysfunctional couples deteriorating relationship which borders on abuse and the longterm psycological effects this can have.

- Toured with legendary drummer Paal Nilssen-Love circus (which I joined in 2020) to Saalfelden jazz festival, Brescia in Italy and Cerkno in Slovenia, and soon in Zagreb as well as Sankt Johann in Austria.With some of Norways greatest. Kalle Moberg on accordion,Odrunn Lilia on guitar,Thomas Johannsen on trumpet,Christiaan Meaas on bass AND Signe Emmeluth on saxophone.

- I was a soloist on Nils Henrik Asheims Organotopia at this year's Ultima festival.

Nils Henriks Organotopia was described as one of the higlights of the Ultima festival in 2022.As a top organist Nils Henrik took the audience on a 12 hour journey with several different types of organs in Paulus church in Oslo with his own original material as well as the works of Bach and Grieg and others that he reworked and changed according to his interpretation.

- Duo concert as duo Nystrom/Venter at Hellviktangen. We performed music from our up coming album.

- Opening the exhibition of Niki de Saint Phalle at Henie Onstad together with Nystrøm.

Niki de Saint Phalle is one of the most important female artistic voices.She entered into an art world mainly dominated by men,but had a formiddable determination in creating her own style and expressing herself in her own right. An inspiration for future generations of woman.

- An opening exhibition of Hilmar Fredriksen led by the kulturisten at Vanntårnet on Nesodden with Paal Nilssen and Nystrøm. Partly based on John Cages approach to music and alleatoric composing we created a series of two minute pieces with 15 minutes brakes in between played by each performer lasting over two hours in response to the artists work.

- Free improvised concerts at Vanntarnet with Moberg, Love, and Nystrøm.

 free improvisation with vocals,truck spring,toy harp,Gongs,saxophones,vibrators,leaves,pingpong balls,stones,bits of poems,a hammer,and accordion and many other things.

- OK session at Victoria jass with Nystrøm/Venter plus guest.

Run by guitarist Oddrunn Lilja the idea behind the OK sessions was inspired by Bugge Wesseltofts label OK world. It is about taking inspiraton from the rest of the world that lives in Oslo and bringing new constellations of musicians together.

- Streaming concert at Oslo international poetry festival with duo Venter/Nystrøm with commissioned work for the festival.

Oslo international poetry festival run by Birgit Hatlehol introduced some of the worlds greatest female poets at this festival.Nystrøm and myself composed music to Greek antiquities poetess Sappho born around 615 BC and to the famous Indian poetess Sarojini Naidu (1879.1949) who was also a close friend and representative of Ghandi.

-Co-founding  music theatre company Skeleton coast;

Together with myself, Rolf-Erik Nystrøm and Marius Kolbenstvedt, and Frank Havrøy we founded our own music theatre company with the intention of working with different writers and poets on each project. We aim to use different processes for each production in order to challenge ourselves and prevent us from falling into the trap of creating a style. We aim to find our own very unique language based on our mutual passion for exploration and boundaryless creation.

We received funding for our first pre-production in 2021 and have been working closely with award-winning writer Ingrid Storholmen on a piece called Vaken.

We will be working with Oyvind Berg among many other great Norwegian writers over the next 5 years.

-Flytende speil which was written and created by myself, Torbjorn Martin Davidsen (from Det Utvalgte) Marius Kolbenstvedt, and Julian Skar were selected to premiere in Stamsund festival as well as Fjaler. For this work, we received a critics nomination.

The work is based on autobiographical stories and uses free improvisation as its center point.

Ultima contemporary music festival;

Premiere Katsu!

By Cecilie Ore. And our own compositions and own interpretation of Yiannis Xenakis Oristea.

- As part of the sløserikommisjonen I participated together as a duo with Rolf-Erik Nystrøm in the debate on what is art and why is it important for society. This project was directed by Morten Traavik in response to the online trolling which took place and attacked many Norwegian artists such as Vegard Vinge and Nystrøm himself in claiming they were wasting the state's money on producing baseless, meaningless as well as badly executed art. We thought it important to take a conversation with them and it turned out to be very meaningful and worthwhile.
